BCSP Foundation recognizes the value of research to the advancement of safety in thought and practice.
If you are stepping into the unknown on a quest for the larger answer, seeking the essential solution to an age-old issue, in the formative stages of development or creating broader understanding by unraveling assumptions, the Foundation wants to support your work.
In addition to providing financial resources for grantees engaged in safety and safety-related research, the Foundation recognizes the importance of disseminating findings. In an effort to contribute to the global body of knowledge, the Foundation will provide the ultimate destination for the presentation of research impacting the field at the Bi-Annual Research and Innovation Summit. Providing a platform for a lively exchange of knowledge, designed to highlight the best and brightest conducting relevant research within the global community. In conjunction with the actual summit, a publication of findings will be offered to further communicate the relevant findings to the community of safety professionals.
How does it work?
Under the guidelines established by the Board of Trustees, the BCSP Foundation will provide support for students and affiliated professionals at accredited institutions of higher education or related research facilities through a reviewed application process in support of research conducted within and related to the field of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE). The financial support for research will be granted to the institution on behalf of the selected grantee to be used for direct support of research.
